The seven different sections are designed to be practical in nature, allowing students from the College of Arts and Sciences and other schools on campus to gain practical leadership experience in the community with a focus on Jewish involvement. Graded. May be repeated with different topics for a maximum of 3 credit hours. A student may take one P180 per semester.
Each section meets once a week beginning in the 3rd week of the Spring semester. Students will be graded on attendance, active participation, and a journal that the each student keeps throughout the semester\in which they reflect on their course.

Greek Life and the Jewish Community: for students who are involved in the Greek life on campus. They plan Shabbat dinners, the Greek Seder, and community service events for the Greek community.
Freshman Leadership: designed for freshman to plan programs and get to know other freshmen and the rest of the Jewish community on campus. In the past, they have included the Homecoming Lawn Party, Northwest Neighborhood Seder, and BBQs.
Event Planning: helps design and execute Campus Superstar, Hillel’s largest yearly fundraiser. This class develops skills in marketing, web design, customer relations and other areas of business.
Alternative Spring Break: designed for students to receive credit for participating in one of our Alternative Spring Break trips.
Israel: Food, Culture and Education: bring Israel to life at IU through educational and cultural events.
Jewish Music and Guitar: perfect for students who are eager to learn about the Jewish music. They learn Niggunim (songs without words), songs with simple melodies, and perfect their song-leading skills. Even if you have never played guitar, this is a great opportunity to pick it up!
Jewish Overnight Camping: is an interactive experience focusing on the essential elements and impact of Jewish Camping in North America. This class is especially recommended for students who will be working at a Jewish summer camp over the summer.
